Are you ready to go fishing? Well come join us as we explore one of the most beautiful places in Alaska together. Our guide service on the Akwe offers incredible fishing, amazing sightseeing, and comfortable lodging. Here is a break down of our fishing seasons/runs.

Chinook/King

Early June - Mid July

Our personal favorite season of fishing. There is no greater feeling in the world then fighting a monster king and landing it after a long fight! Our king season runs from early June to the middle of July.

Coho/Silver

Our most popular season. The Akwe silver run has always been spectacular to say the least. Starting in early September and going through the first week of October, our silver runs usually get booked out far in advance. First time client may need to be put on a waiting list or come fish with us during King's to get a slot.

Early September -Early October

Sockeye, Steelhead, Humpies and Trout

Although our king and silver salmon runs are our primary focus, we have several other desirable fish that come through our river. If you are interested in targeting one of the other species, just ask! We would be happy to help you hook into whatever your looking for!

Nightly Rates 2024

Our bases rate per person per night as of 2024.

We have two cabins and two boats each with a maximum occupancy of 4 people. Therefore we can book a maximum of 8 people at a time. As of now we have a minimum party requirement of 2, however this is subject to change.

Deposit & Refund Policies

Deposit: A 50% deposit per person to Akwe River Adventures is required before confirmation of dates. We will send a confirmation letter/receipt. Final payment is due 30 days before your trip begins.

Refunds: if for any reason you have to cancel your trip with us your deposit will be forfeited. However, If we are able to replace your spot we will refund your deposits. If we do not receive your balance due payment 30 days before your trip, we reserve the right to consider your booking cancelled and your deposits forfeited.

**Because of the extensive amount of planning and scheduling involved with planning a trip with us, we must strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. Please understand that once you book a trip with us, we loose the opportunity to sell our reserved space to another person or group. We regret we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies and we recommend trip insurance.
