The Tongass National Rainforest

The Akwe River is a remote freshwater river located in Southeast Alaska, just Northwest of towns like Sitka, Juneau, and Haines. Located in the Tongass National Rainforest, the Akwe is home to spectacular wildlife such as brown bears, bald eagles, moose, and much more.
